As an educator, how do you motivate a generation of digital natives,
students who have grown up with technology? At the 8th Annual Leadership
Initiative in Science Education, aptly titled "New Media and Techology
in Science Education

distinguished roster of speakers will offer perspectives on that
question.
The event will begin with dinner and a keynote speech on Monday 28
April. Christopher Dede of Harvard University will present the kickoff
address, "How Immersion in Virtual Worlds Helps Real Students," to begin
a full day of sessions on Tuesday 29 April. Other topics will include
"Epistemic Games for Teaching and Learning" and "Preparing for
Pennsylvania's Classrooms of the Future."
