Hello all,




The Community Programs Office will be co-sponsoring the 2008 Northern
New Mexico Middle Science Competitions, which include a NM Regional
Science Bowl (an academic competition for students in grades 6 through 8
that tests students' knowledge in all areas of science)  and Hydrogen
Fuel Cell Car Competition (a race that provides students, grades 6
through 8,  with a "hands-on" science and engineering experience where
teams design, build, and race their model cars).  The winners at these
regional events have the opportunity to compete at the Department of
Energy's National Event in Denver on June 19-22.  Please note that
transportation and stipends are available.
