American Nuclear Society Teacher's Workshop

This workshop is intended for junior high and high school science
teachers.  There will be a maximum of 20 registrants for this workshop
on a first come basis.  The registration fee is $30.00 and can be paid
through PayPal link.

 

Robotics Around Us:

This workshop will provide information about current applications of
robotics, an introduction to how they work, and ways to make current
technology accessible to students.

 

Radiation in a Radioactive World:

The workshop will provide an overview of radiological fundamentals,
radiation sources, radiation detectors, protection from radiation (time,
distance, and shielding), career opportunities within the nuclear field,
and hands on applications with Geiger Counters which each teacher will
take with them at the end of the session.  

 

You are welcome to stay at the Hotel Albuquerque at the conference
