[NMScience] Open House at UNM School of Engineering This Saturday

Hello,

This is a reminder that The University of New Mexico's School of 
Engineering is hosting an Open House on Saturday, November 8 from 10 a.m. 
until 1 p.m. Please encourage students who are interested in science and 
engineering to attend.

The activities start at the Centennial Engineering Center (on the main UNM 
campus near the corner of Martin Luther King and University Avenue). 
Parking is free and food will be provided!

Here's what we're offering:

- Information about UNM School of Engineering and degrees offered in 
engineering and computer science.

- Tours of the departments in the Centennial Engineering Center and other 
School of Engineering departments and labs. Learn about the innovative 
research conducted at UNM.

- Tours of the Center for Biomedical Engineering - with demonstrations 
ranging from low-cost medical diagnostics for the third-world to 
state-of-the-art flow cytometry

- A formula race car, designed and built by the UNM Formula Society of 
Engineers Association team affiliated with the Mechanical Engineering 
Department

- Information about Engineering Student Services: scholarships, advisement, 
tutoring, and student organizations.
