Full/Part Time:  This is a Full-Time State position with all State
benefits. This position is listed on the SPO website as Part-Time but it
is a Full-Time position (It is listed as part-time because part of the
salary is paid by the Museum foundation and part of the salary is paid
by the State.)  

Regular/Temporary: Sponsored Term  
  
Salary:  The hourly pay for this position is $14.68 hour.  Pay Band: 65.

  
Purpose of Position:  
To provide program management for family-based programs at the NMMNHS.
Position duties include maintaining budgets, grant writing, marketing,
and curriculum development for Family Programs, including family fun
days, summer science camp, and early childhood science programs.
Position will supervise contract instructor staff and work study
students (non-state staff).  


Educational requirements:  
A Bachelors Degree in Natural Science, Education or Museum Studies is
required for this position. 

Experience:  
Five (5) years experience in informal science education, of which two
(2) years must have been in a supervisory role is required for this
position.  

Working Environment:  
Some lifting, bending and standing.
